This is an excellent rendering of Biblical truths and history that is woven into a dramatic story. I love the characters and want to follow them into the future in the coming volumes. You wrote a stand-alone conclusion, but the story obviously continues and I want to read more! Loved it!

I especially liked how you wove the long-ago story into a fabric not unlike our world today… hospitals, council rooms, petty politics and larger politics, city core and suburbs with the continual striving of people for a better life for themselves aided by those with a compassion for the common man. The set of characters kept me riveted and I love the different people. You interwove them in an exciting plot line. The compelling and rich historical context make for an enjoyable read. At the end of this book I wanted more and will be purchasing the next one in the series.
